Where
Inner wrists, behind the ears, the base of the throat. In winter, a touch at the collar of a coat — wool holds an attar for days.
How much
One pass of the applicator per point. Attar is concentrated; more is not stronger, only heavier.
Do not rub
Rubbing shears the top of the composition. Press the wrists together lightly, or better, leave them.
Layering
Pair a resin with a floral, not two florals. Sacred Vanilla under Purple Oud is a reliable evening pairing. African Leather over Aseel reads as smoke over sweetness.
Storage
Dark, cool, upright, cap tight. Away from a bathroom window. A well-kept attar improves for years.
